Dave Crane graduated from the University of Nebraska in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies. Since 2007, Dave has worked as an Environmental Resources Specialist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Omaha, NE. Dave served as the lead Corps biologist on the L-575 levee setback projects (HWY-2 and Frazer’s Bend) between 2011 and 2013. In addition to working on other ecosystem restoration efforts across the Midwest, he has a long history of working on many different aspects of the Missouri River Recovery Program, focusing on shallow water and floodplain habitat restoration. An avid entomology hobbyist, Dave enjoys taking photos of bugs and other macroinvertebrates in his spare time.
