Tony Krause

Mr. Krause earned both his BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska while studying at the Peter Kiewit Institute as a Scott Scholar.

Tony has been a hydraulic engineer with the Flood Risk and Floodplain Management Services Section of the Omaha District since 2005. Currently, Mr. Krause serves as the Omaha District Flood Risk Management, Silver Jackets and FPMS Program Manager as well as the Nebraska and Montana Silver Jackets USACE representative. Notable projects include technical lead on hydraulic modeling downstream of Gavin’s Point during the 2011 Missouri River Flood, construction of levee setbacks following the 2011 flood, Missouri River Recovery Floodplain Permitting, Iowa Floodplain Mapping Initiative, and the Antelope Creek CLOMR/LOMR.
